About Baltimore Forklifts

Baltimore Forklifts is the Baltimore-area forklift team of Alliance Material Handling. Alliance has sold, rented and serviced lift trucks in the region since 1955, more than 70 years. Our headquarters is in Jessup, between Baltimore and Columbia. We cover Baltimore City and Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Howard, Harford and Carroll counties. We offer new and used forklifts, rentals, service on all makes and OSHA operator training.

We sell Crown, Clark, Bobcat and Combilift forklifts new. We also sell quality-inspected used trucks from every major make, including Toyota, Hyster, Yale, Cat, Mitsubishi and Doosan. Carrying more than one brand matters. A dealer with one brand recommends that brand for every job. We look at your load, aisle width, floor, duty cycle and power needs. Then we tell you which truck fits, even when it is not the one we would most like to sell.

Central Maryland needs a wide range of equipment. Port and marine terminal work around the harbor needs tough outdoor trucks. Distribution buildings near BWI and along I-95 run reach trucks and order pickers at height. Older brick plants and warehouses in the city often have low ceilings and tight aisles. Farther out, Harford and Carroll counties mix new distribution centers with yards and outdoor work. One truck cannot do all of that. So we ask about the job before we quote from a spec sheet.
