Why we quote Crown

Battery is the real price
On a used electric truck, the battery is the biggest hidden cost. Ask for its manufacture date and cycle count, not just truck hours. A tired battery can cost a third of what you paid for the truck.

Hours tell you less than you think
A Crown reach truck at 8,000 hours in a clean distribution building is often healthier than one at 4,000 in a dirty one. We check deck wear, mast chain stretch and the condition of the operator compartment.

Mast and chain wear
Two items most often turn a cheap used truck into an expensive one. They are chain stretch beyond manufacturer tolerance and worn mast rollers. You can measure both before you buy.

Yes, a Crown electric forklift works in cold storage when it is built to a cold-storage spec. Freezer and cooler work needs electronics that resist condensation. It also needs sealed parts built for the temperature swing between the freezer and the dock. A standard truck run in a freezer will wear out much sooner.
