These checks separate a good used truck from an expensive one. You can make every one of them before you commit.

Corrosion is the first check
Many used Hysters around Baltimore worked outdoor yards, some near salt water. A truck that crossed salted ground all winter corrodes faster in the mast channels, carriage, chains and electrical connectors. That matters more than the hour meter.
